Located in Front Royal, Skyline Caverns has wowed visitors since its opening in 1939. Other Cavern-Exploring Essentials

Things are a bit different underground. The air is thinner, the temperature is a static 54⁰F, and the walk may not be for everyone. Due to the temperature, it is a good idea to bring a light jacket or sweatshirt. If anyone in your party has difficulty with stairs, you should know that there are 12 steps to begin the tour and 61 steps at the end. As a result, the tour is also not wheelchair accessible.
